Just joined from Templeton, MA. I’ve been riding Amtrak for years and more so since I retired. Love the long distance runs and have done many of them. Will be on theSouthern Crescent for the first time next week RTE/NYP/NOL. Looking forward to it!

Welcome! I lived in nearby Hubbardston for 10 years so I know the area. Do you ever ride the MBTA from the Wachusett station? Unfortunately I moved before they opened that station, would have been convenient for heading into Boston. Southern Crescent sounds interesting. Hopefully it will be one of the trains to eventually get traditional dining although I don't expect that anytime soon. NOL is a great place to explore.
