New platforms in Green River and Helper.

Work has been wrapping up on the new station platforms in Helper and Green River, Utah. I figured I'd share some pictures.

Nice shot of Helper, really captures the spirit of the place. Now if only we could use the station building at Green River and there was some way to get to Moab from there...

Other than ride your bike, if you've taken it onboard. Green River doesn't have checked baggage, maybe that would be a problem.

Are there any hotels within walking distance of this train station?

Unfortunately, the hotels in Helper within walking distance to the station are haunted, and no one stays in them. Green River has a lot more motels. I stayed at the Robbers Roost once, not too far from the station in Green River.
