Yes, you will be able to take Amtrak to Paradise! PennDOT and Lancaster County officials announced last week that a train station will be constructed along Amtrak’s Harrisburg Line at Paradise (Lehman Place). This station will primarily be for connections to the Strasburg Railroad and its steam-powered excursion trains but will also serve county buses. The complex will also include a roundtable to turn the steam engine. The new station will feature arguably the most unique train station parking arrangement in the United States, “the station will include a circular driveway, a passenger drop-off area, hitching posts for horses and buggies, parking for about 30 cars and a bus-waiting and drop-off area.”
