Had a very nice trip down from PDX to SBA leaving on the 25th.
Attendents and conductors all friendly.
Bathrooms all clean and toilets all WORKED!
1/2 hour early into KFS and SAC and SBA, would have been 1 hr early into SBA except we had to wait for a Surfliner to clear the station.
Lunch and dinner good food, breakfast so so.
Nearly full train with extra cars (3 sleepers + 4 coaches + plus usual bag, dorm etc) but was mostly very well handled by Amtrak staff.
Its been several years from my last trip, so i do not know when they remodeled the Sightseer Lounge, I liked having the tables in the one half of the car. They were usually being used when the couches were not.
Oh, for you east coast types, the only snow was in the mountains where its normally found this time of year.
