This happens everyday at Amtrak. The loyalty to Amtrak employees is non-existant and management will throw you to the wolfs in a second if it best suits their immediate situation. Even though this post is about the Mechanical Division, it's worse in Operations, especially on-board service. This story I hope is an insight to the grim reality that the situation for improvements on the trains won't happen anytime soon. <_<
