Thinking about taking #2 EB from lax-nol. I wanted to ride @422 all the way to chicago, but I've noticed otp has been brutal lately..I must make connection to NYP. I might ride to nol, spend the night and catch the crescent nb.

Anyone no if any hotels near the station have reopened?

Go to www.neworleans.com and click on Hotels and you can see what is open and available. Almost ll the hotels in the French Quarter are open and you can call or go to the websites of those close to the station.

There are several hotels advertising as open - but be prepared to pay top $$$. Nothing decently cheap right now; supply and demand is doing its thing. I understand taxi service is still iffy, but no doubt prices drop the farther you get from downtown.
