Received Sad news that Long time Rail Fan, Olie Johnston, who modeled live steam in 1 inch gage, passed Away April 14. He was 95. He also was an animator with Walt Disney whose credits include, Snow White, Fantasia, Bambi. He was the last of Walt's "Nine Old Men". But also he was an avid Rail Fan and modeled large scale like Walt Disney.
My contact with Olie was that we served on committees together in my first years in the Business Meetings of IATSE My last contact with him was, IFIRC at the 100th Anniversary meeting early '90's. Besides the union business at hand we did talk trains,
