On the Southwest Chief

Am on the Southwest Chief right now heading toward Trinidad and New Mexico. Bedroom is on the left side of the train (if you are facing the engine). Will there be better views out the left or right side of the train thru New Mexico?

Hopefully you get this reply in time but be sure to get into the Lounge for Raton Pass and watch for the big "Totem Pole" markers showing the top of the pass.

In Raton right now - went back and forth in my bedroom to each side of the train and got lots of pictures. Freshly fallen snow overnight, so it's gorgeous!
