Now that we are back to having multiple paint schemes with the delivery of the viewliners it has me thinking....Why does Amtrak even paint the cars? Why not do like the predecessors and have all stainless steel trains with brightly painted locomotives? Why don't they just put a logo near the doors and maybe put Amtrak.com in the center? It would make the trains look nice clean and silver throughout with decoration left for just the locomotives.
