Parking at DAL

Has anyone ever used overnight parking at DAL? I am going to Chicago on the TE on Monday, and I'd like to leave my car at the station if it's safe and worthwhile.

The only times I have ever parked near the DAL station was to attend something at Reunion, and that always meant over priced lots. I'm not sure what Amtrak parking costs, but depending on where you are coming from, I would suggest hopping onto DART or TRE and taking that to the station.

I answered my own question by looking at www.texaseagle.com and checking out the info for DAL.

* IF * you can find a spot at Union Station, it will likely be at $5.00/day.

This is a busy place all day, and DART Police are always in the area.

At night, it is usually well lit.
