Has anyone picked up passengers recently at the King Street Station in Seattle?

Any suggestions or tips on how/where to go?

The people I'm picking up are arriving during rush hour (4:30) on the same day there is a baseball game. Yikes!!

Yikes is right -- it could easily be a mess! The only way to pick up passengers is to enter on S. King Street, east of 2nd Ave. S. If the cops are directing traffic, you should be able to tell them that you are going to the train station rather than the baseball game.

If you don't want to face the traffic, you could suggest to your friends that they take the light rail or a cab to somewhere convenient to rendezvous.

If you are going to send them on light rail, a nice gesture would be for you to take light rail in from your car, show off the depot, and help them with their bags back to light rail and your car.
