One last question for right now do coach seats have power outlets? I can't remember the last time I traveled train.

If not is it ok to bring my little battery pack that is no bigger than half a UPS or USPS big envelope that has bubble wrap?

Yes, all coach seat pairs have a 120 V, 60 Hz duplex receptacle. Battery packs are OK.

There are two plug ins under every window. I use an extension cord if sitting in aisle seat so I am not draping across the seat next to me.
