According to Trains Newswire President Obama will designate the Pullman site in Chicago a National Monument on February 19, and it will be managed by the Naional Park Service.

I found this at the Historic Pullman Foundation's website: http://www.pullmanil.org/nps.html

Statement from the Historic Pullman Foundation
February 10, 2015

As president of the Historic Pullman Foundation and a resident of the Pullman Historic District I am thrilled to learn that President Obama will establish Pullman as a unit of the National Park System. The designation of Pullman as a National Monument culminates a 5 decade grassroots effort of the Pullman Civic Organization and the Historic Pullman Foundation to preserve and restore the Pullman Historic District’s place in American history and to attract the national and international attention that this important landmark deserves. We look forward to working with the National Parks Service and others in creating a great urban National Park in Chicago.

Pullman is a place associated with many significant events of our cultural heritage over the past 150 years such as innovative rail passenger travel, town planning, immigration, integration, economic recession, labor conflict, civil rights and change. It is a place where people can commemorate, celebrate and learn from our past and discuss the future of our nation.

President of the Historic Pullman Foundation
I also found this article at the blog for the Metropolitan Planning Council: (which has some great historic pictures of the place. http://www.metroplanning.org/news/blog-post/6734
