Can civilians use the Quantico, VA, station? I've been told it's inside the marine base. Thank you!

The process unless it has changed recently: You will be asked where you're going. Everyone in the car must show ID. USMC reserves the right to search your car. There can be delays. Be careful to park only in a designated area.

Allow extra time to go through the gate. Be sure to have ID. The station is unmanned, so no ticketing facility or quik-trak machine. Sometimes the trains don't stop next to the raised platform, you might have to cross active tracks to board your train. Be careful!
