Inside America's worst train station

Once upon a time, New York’s Pennsylvania Station was not a hell hole....Madison Square Garden squats on top of the station, choking off all natural light and air. Its cramped corridors, suffocating odors, confusing signage, and baffling layout make the overall experience of traveling through Penn Station equal to a very invasive, very unnecessary surgery. Without anesthesia...
A new look?

Putting Lipstick on a Pig still leaves you with a Pig! The Garden needs to go, a real Train Station rebuilt in the mode of the Grand Old Penn Station, which, by the way, needs to retain this honored name!

Political think: let's also rebuild and rename Grand Central Terminal after a Political Hack (Trump Terminal sounds good) and spread the graft around, aka "The New York way". The Donald would love it!

It will be " Huge!"

Interesting article, and comments after it.....

Somehow, "Empire Station Complex" doesn't ring....people will always call the place "Penn Station"....
