Been traveling quite a bit lately so I'm only just catching up on the blogs. Anyway this article caught my eye and I thought the group might enjoy it. It's part of an ongoing diary series that the writer publishes weekly. There's way too much to do justice in a fair use quote snippet, but the author presents his take on five Amtrak LD routes and what it would take to improve them. Not much here that many long time AU readers don't know already but it's all assembled in one long form article.
