Reroute of SWC in the Galesburg area?

4 came into Galesburg from south yard not on Ft Madison line, lost 59 minutes on route from FM any idea why this detour?

maybe the normal line has some trackwork? That other line takes extra time to move around the yard...

freights were arriving normally on former at&sf line.

Maybe the normal way was full with freight and so it was easier for the chief to go around

But don't crews have to work diversionary routes from time to time just for the purpose of maintaining route knowledge so that they know what to do should the detour ever be required in earnest?

Don't know the specific reasons but I have seen that occur from time-to-time on the Galesburg VRF camera.
