Just for the heck of it, are the family room seats reclining also?
None of the rooms in the sleepers has reclining chairs. And except for a folding chair found in the Bedroom (formerly the Deluxe Bedroom), all seats slide down to form beds.
Actually, except for one of the short family room seats, ALL sleeper seats "recline", by lifting the bar underneath the seat and scooting it out a few inches - this also causes the seat back to angle back at about an additional 20 degrees or so

Doesn't that cause a loss of leg room in the roomettes, though???

Yes, it does. And they don't lock at what I'd consider to be the most comfortable position. If you don't lock it, then it moves too easily.

it might require two people to work out a leg situation, but for one person it's fine - and as far as the angle, the pillows are normally right there in the seat to help with that

I would describe the bedroom seats as "slumping" more than "reclining."
