Roomette question (re sleeping on upper bunk)

For my next solo trip, I am pondering using the upper bunk to sleep and keeping the lower as chairs. Looking for pros and cons for this idea.

My wife isn't a very sound sleeper and she slept very well on the upper berth on our last trip. I think you have a good idea.
 
Is this on a Superliner or a Viewliner? On Superliners, you'll probably bump your head on the upper berth if you lower it and try to sit on the chair. Also, the upper berth is rather cramped for sleeping. On a Viewliner, the ceiling is higher, so you can sit on the chair while the berth is down. Also, the upper berth is less cramped than on a Superliner, and there's windows up there.

If you bump your head, hopefully it won't be as bad as happened to Bud Jameson in the Three Stooges episode "Pain in the Pullman". I think he did it about ten times; it was quite a hoot.
