Since it was discussed earlier (European hook-couplers versus automatic couplers) here is an intresting picture.
Everyone's favorite "airline" :lol: between Helsinki (Finnland) and SPB, shortly before arrival. Not my photo, but shows clearly what's up.
- The EP-10 engine uses SA-3 style coupler.
- Behind the electric is the old Finnish car with "mixed" couplers, presumably it's the dinette car (don't think, the full-blown diners are running on this relatively short route)
- the couches are brand-new VR (Finnish Rail), freshly painted. These are domestic, with hook-couplers
SA-3 is miles above hook-couplers, but still we prefere this kind of airline. The picture is from "parovoz" picture gallery.
