San Joaquin Thruway Connections

I'm going to be taking the SJ BFD to SKN and then Thruway connection to MRV. The timetable only has a 5 minute connection at SKN. Am I correct in asuming that the Thruway Coach will wait for the passengers if the SJ is late? :help:

Short answer: YUP!

Yes. It's a guaranteed connection. That Thruway bus is dedicated to that train and will wait for it to arrive, even if it's delayed.

I assume checking my bag would not be a good idea!

I wouldn't suggest it... Seeing as there's no checked baggage service to Marysville.

But for anyone else reading this... I think you'd be safe to check your bag. They are very efficient with the baggage transfer at SKN.

Last time I caught a bus there I watched the baggage handlers load my bag onto the bus before I made it to the front of the line to have the driver scan my eTicket.
