service disruption on 27 (EB) (Feb 3 2015)

I see there's a service disruption this morning for 27. Seems to be stopped in Spokane. Anyone know the cause?

track work somewhere west of pasco so folks will be on a bus from there with an on-time arrival in portland. i think the work is just for today

Were passengers warned of this before boarding? Getting woken up at 2 AM in sleeper and put on a bus for the rest of the night? On time arrival is not the issue here.

In this specific case it was 4:30 in the morning, as that's when it got to Spokane. It lost a lot of time coming out of Chicago's snowstorm & didn't make most of it back.

Ick. I've been bussed to SPK on the #28. That was awful enough, but the other direction would be even worse!
