sleeper prices in october?

i was surprised to see sleeper prices on the CZ so expensive for after mid october, supposedly thier slow season! I realize that price is determined by bookings; and some days are more expensive than others, but in general, all the days I checked from October 16th-October 21st were over $350...and that's just from Omaha to Emeryville. Any explanations?

Could be a group on board. Lots of seniors groups travel in October and November - when the kids are back in school. Check a few days befoe and a few days afer and see if the price remains what you consider high.
