Amtrak has released the schedule!
But Arrow hasn't been updated to reflect this yet.

Update: looks like they’re starting to update their ticketing system to reflect the new timetables. I’m probably expecting to get another phone call from Amtrak sometime later today or tomorrow, claiming that they want to speak to me about my upcoming trip. But Arrow hasn't been updated to reflect this yet.

Seems to be 10 trains/day in each direction, with the same schedule on weekdays and weekends.
Guessing the following schedule will be in place again:
I think they're planning on it long-term, then the pandemic and the landslide happened. If I remember correctly, the CA Rail Plan targeted hourly departures SAN-LAX by 2025 and half-hourly departures by 2040.I'd like to see another southbound train departing L.A. within the 7:10-10:10 A.M. gap, and another northbound train departing San Diego within the 4:01-7:01 P.M. gap. (I know, they're somewhat hamstrung by the presence of Metrolink and Coaster trains, particularly on weekdays.)
Tracks Closed near San Clemente Pier due to Falling Debris from Nearby Slope
Update Effective April 27, 2023
Debris falling from a slope north of the San Clemente Pier has resulted in a track closure in the area. Pacific Surfliner service is affected between San Juan Capistrano and Oceanside.
The track closure took effect at 1:11 p.m. on April 27. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution and the tracks will reopen once it is determined safe to do so.
The location of the closure is near San Clemente’s Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, approximately two miles north of where the Orange County Transportation Authority is completing construction work. It is an unrelated issue.
We are currently working to provide bus bridges around the closure, between Irvine and Oceanside. More information will be posted once more details become available.
they don't need to invest in double tracking areas that will be bypassed in 5-10 years. even with single track segments good timetable work mean they could get 3RT hourly though itIt is way past time for them to take on performance of serious slope stabilization throughout the entire length of the line where it as the bottom of slopes. By the way, double track the thing while you are at it.
Where is the alternative alignment?they don't need to invest in double tracking areas that will be bypassed in 5-10 years. even with single track segments good timetable work mean they could get 3RT hourly though it
Plan on a bus. Be happy when it’s a train.Am scheduled to take the 6:57am from Oceanside on Saturday morning. I take it I can expect a bus instead? Or what are the chances of this re-opening within 36 hours?
the photos I've seen show minimal junk on the tracks but getting close to the edge and likely impeading the loading gauge, removing that should be fairly quick if they decide to make it a priority.Am scheduled to take the 6:57am from Oceanside on Saturday morning.
