...Seattle - San Diego - Seattle...and, as usual, a couple of detours.
My college friend from Chicago called a few months ago to say that he wanted to fly to Seattle, then take the train to a conference in San Diego. He flies for business constantly, but had never taken a long-distance train in the States, so he asked if I would come along as a, er, native guide. Not surprisingly, he didn't have to twist my arm very hard.
I didn't keep notes along the way this time, so I'm not sure how much I'll write, but here are some pictures.
