Supper on SB Meteor?

I have been on that train many many times and have always been served dinner, even when the train is running late.

I took the SB Meteor starting at WAS in January - I boarded, met my SCA and had a chat with him, and went to dinner. I was back in my roomette by 8:30.

On the Meteor there are three Dinner sittings before the train arrives in Washington DC and then there is at least one (7:30pm) and if necessary an additional one (8:15pm) sittings after it departs Washington DC. So yes, you will definitely get dinner out of DC.
