Do any of you fine folks know what is causing the big time delays on 21/22??? I'm going on a diner training trip Monday. I just checked the OTP both directions for the past 5 days and it looks like it's running an average of around 4 hours late either way!!!! If I recall correctly, it usually ran fairly on time. I'm guessing it's the ever present track work, but I'm curious. So much for a half-way decent layover in Austin and returning home Thursday at a reasonable hour! Thanks.

Frieght Trains and lots of them plus there have been problems with slow track down south.

Seems like the Eagle has phases of good vs bad performance. For a few weeks its always late, then it does fairly well for a while. Luckily the past few times I've been on it, its had good days.
