Just noticed the number of members of the board. Who will be number 1570?

That's thanks to the spammers, who early on when they first started targeting BB's, would register and then have their user names deleted. Eventually I figured out how to stop their registrations, that's why you now have to type that number "987654321" when you register. However when a spammer is deleted, while the total number of members on the board counter is adjusted, the actual member number is not reset. Mainly because real people have already registered before we got the spammer deleted. So we'd have to go and change their numbers and that would quickly become a nightmare.

So therefore your member number doesn't have any reflection on just how many members are registered.
