Train from NY to Cali ???

Hi everyone I need help with this. I want to know if there is a train that starts at New York (i am from jersey) that will go to California and I would liie to have my car put on the train as well. Somebody said I can do that but I cant find info on it please help me Thanks.

You can only put your car on a train leaving Virginia, heading to Florida (and vice versa).

That said, there are a number of possible itineraries that will take you to California, but they all require a change of trains somewhere like Chicago or New Orleans.
