Looking at possible AGR redemptions for a two zone trip for early next year, I noticed the routing from Toledo to Los Angeles once again allows taking The EB connecting the same day with the CS. I thought that connection was no longer allowed. You can't do it the reverse direction, Hope this routing is here to stay. Got to get the most train time for AGR's. We hope to return from LA via the Texas Eagle,

I hope the routing stays that way too. Have you checked the On Time performance record lately for the EB arrival into Portland?

That said, book it now while you can. If they break the connection again (likely), you may be able to convince them to let you overnight on your own dime to make the next-day connection.
