Turboliner Story
Amtrak took these units out of service for most of the summer due to insuffecent air conditioning systems, now it looks like it is unknown if they will EVER be back. Super Steel even offered to correct the problem but Amtrak declined.
This whole turbo deal was crap from the begining, they arent as wonderful as the State of New York trys to make them out to be. Just keep the Amfleet trains and bump up speeds in areas, there seems to be quite a few riders on the New York - Albany line as it is, forget the turboliners. Though thats a tough thing since New York spent millions on upgrading these junkers.
