What happened to Amtrak 65?

We were pulling into CHI union station and couldn't help but notice the giant gash in the side of #65. It is an odd place to have damage, anyone know what happened to this locomotive?

We never really made a thread about. It was just mentioned in the thread discussing the 66. It is supposed to be repaired. It is/was on its way to Beech Grove.
