What happened with the EB on 08/30/2010?

Looks like some stations were skipped or the train didnt continue past a point? It arrived Saint Cloud 1 hour and 25 minutes late but then departed MSP 4 hours and 46 minutes late. What happend to have it sit in MSP so long? It also looks like it got stopped between SCD and MSP....

I believe that's the train which was stuck behind a freight that struck a person.

A Northstar commuter train struck and killed a BNSF employee on the tracks shortly before the EB would have passed through.

Northstar trains are actually crewed by BNSF too, which makes it quite likely that the engineer may have known the employee that was killed by his train.

The lack of a departure time for POG and MKE doesn't necessarily mean that those stops were skipped. Rather, it just means that the times never got entered into the Amtrak.com database for some reason. This isn't all that uncommon of an occurrence. In fact, I've boarded before from a station where the departure time never got posted to the Amtrak website.
