What Will Happen To Amtrak Next

I created this topic to see what people think about what should happen to Amtrak, I would like to know what you think.

My feeling is that Amtrak will get the money it wants & needs. With the airlines in disarray & the cost of gasoline going up across the country, (over $2/ gallon here in L.A.) I think the public is going to demand better trains.

I have written to my Senators & the President about Amtrak.

The future is the past. I think Amtrak will keep on getting the government to squeeze out money, just as it has for the past 32 years.
