I can live with the delays as long as there is progress and these cars are coming. However, I'm more concerned with quality. How well are these cars going to hold up before they need replacement?

Do we know yet for sure how the 1,000 TQP's after $5,000 spend will work? I should hit the $5,000 spend sometime in December - but my statement doesn't close until the first week of January. Does this mean I may not be awarded the TQP depending on if it's a real time award or a statement...

I'm on train 85 and between Aberdeen and Baltimore we've come to a halt. Have been crawling / stopped for what seems like 30 minutes. Conductor said there is catenary power issues going into Baltimore.

Has anyone received their Club Acela pass in the mail?

Two days for me. I received the it was mailed email on Monday and the card came on Wed.

I received my card today! I live in New Jersey, just outside of Philly...so it didn't have to travel that far from DE, but hopefully it can give you guys some indication of progress. Now...the only thing that remains is the Club Acela pass. I haven't received that yet.

So... I called and my reservation was changed to the closest time train for no extra fees.

I will give them a call soon, because I don't know how the prices will work out. The tickets available now for the other trains are in higher buckets than when I initially purchased. If there is a historical example to go by...am I expected to pay the difference, or does Amtrak call it even...

There are some pictures on Facebook of the ACS-64, it looks pretty intact so I don't think this was a head on collision between anything. I just hope everyone is ok and that a Sprinter defect wasn't the cause of the accident.

I don't know if these links still work, but supposedly you can still apply for the Credit Card. It doesn't appear to come with a signup bonus, and a chase twitter quote confirms no new applications are taking place. But if you really want the card, these might be working for now...
