Ok, so I'm going on a train trip, and I want some appropriate music to bring along! I just downloaded Arlo Guthrie's "City of New Orleans" (what a neat song!) What other train-related songs would make good listening? (especially if I can get them off iTunes) Anyone? Opinions? Tif =8-)

Has anyone been to the Albany station since they remodeled it? What is it like? I can't seem to find any information about it? Like, do thay have a Metro Lounge? (I don't think so, but I thought I'd ask). Tif =8-)

I know Amtrak has a policy about carry-on bags, only 2 and they have to be a certain size. I also know that purses and a few other things don't count. What about a garment bag? (We're going to a wedding, and we need to pack fancy clothes, darn it, lol) Does this count as 1 carry-on bag? Or...

I haven't taken many Amtrak trips since 9/11 (only one short one to Montreal). Does Amtrak search people's luggage at all? Or have they implemented any other new security measures? Tif =8-)

Ok, see last time I took this trip I missed the Lakeshore Limited out of Chicago, and I lost my sleepers, so my parents and I had to go back in coach. I will NOT do that again! And, honestly, my parents are too old to put up with an overnight coach trip. But, if I miss the connection again...
