Oh yeah, if that had been the situation, I would feel differently about it. I don't even want to think about how mad everyone on our train would have been if we'd had to wait for a new crew that close to Chicago.

If this had happened in 2008 that train would most likely be 10 hours late. When i took my trip to LAUS and back I was going to take the SWC up then take 422 TE back. But it kept getting into Chicago too close to 6PM sometimes after which would make me miss my connection on the wolverine. So I did the reverse. Took 421 to LAUS then took SWC 4 to CHI.
