We are making reservations for a trip coming up this summer. We are booking 4 roomettes for 5 adults and one child. If we purchase the tix at one time on one reservation, can one person with the AGR account get the full credit points for the entire purchase? That is, when we enter the pax info, can we use the same AGR # for each passenger? This will be one reservation - one purchase.

No, you cannot enter the same number over and over. Well technically you could enter the number, but AGR will reject all but one entry for your number. If you don't want to lose the other points, then each person must obtain their own number and they you must enter that on the reservation.

You should also know that the first person listed on the reservation will get the room credit for the 1st room, the second person will get the credit for the 2nd room and so on. The final person will only get credit for their railfare. So if you want to collect points for the others, be sure to enter their names in the order you want so as to maximize the points for the correct people.

Also, be sure the others have their own AGR accounts! If they do not, those potential AGR points will go to nobody - they will be lost!

If they do not have AGR accounts, you can refer them to join AGR. Sign on to your AGR account and click on the "Refer A Friend" link and enter their email address. When they join via the link in the email they receive, both the and you will earn bonus points!
