Does anyone know why the amfleet 1 capstone cafe cars are in permanent storage? i though railplan international did a great job on the interiors.

My guess probably because they need some heavy work to the trucks and things like that, coupled with the fact that they probably aren't needed now that the former Metroliner First Class cars are being converted to Club Dinettes.

Actually I believe a large part of the reason was the horrendous Acela type setup that was installed in the cars. Both crew and passengers alike complained loud and hard about this setup, but I could be wrong.
