Boarded a NE Regional from BOS this morning and 5 miles out of BOS our engine lost power and came to a grinding stop! So much for pre-departure checks.
After a while it sputtered back to life and has been ambling along, losing power every few minutes, and as a result losing speed and time. Already gathered 30 minutes of delay and we are still in Connecticut.
To add to it, ever since we departed BOS, the on-board Wi-fi is not working and the staff has made exactly one announcement that "we have called about it, they will look into it". Don't know when. Maybe tomorrow. Or Tuesday.
So, basically after paying over $100 we have an engine that can barely work, air-con and lights that keep going off every few minutes, and advertised wi-fi that does not work. This would have been OK if I was on a discount Chinese bus that can do the same journey for $10. Well...
