Where is the Tracks for the Lake Shore Limited Boston Train out from Boston MA?

The tracks run to the west of Boston through Worcester and Springfield, Massachusetts then up through the Berkshire Mountains and down into Albany, New York where it joins the New York section to Chicago. When comming out of Boston South Station the tracks that go west to Worcester split from the Northeast Corridor just a little ways beyond Back Bay Station.

Is there any Track work on the tracks on the Amtrak's Northeast Corridor at this time?

There's always track work being done, all over the corridor, and the country. Constant inspection, repair, replacement, etc.

When there is some Track work to be done on the Railroad Tracks I know there is Announcements to tell the Passagers if there is any changes like what is the Train will be runing late and what Platform will the Train will be arriveing.
