Amtrak Routes

Hello,

I just have a quick question about a couple of Amtrak routes. Are the Maple Leaf route and the Empire route operated by the same trains and basically the same route? I've traveled on the Maple Leaf route before, but just curious cause I've never seen any "Empire trains"

Yes the Empire Route and the Maple Leaf travel the exact same route between NYP and NFL (Niagara Falls, NY). The Maple Leaf continues on to Toronto, but is operated as a VIA Rail train from there.
