Amtrak Thruway route ends in Sonora, CA

From Sonora, CA Union-Democrat, 11/29/04:

The last bus out of town leaves tomorrow night.
After two years, Greyhound is ending its Sonora-to-Modesto route because of continually low ridership.

This bus represented Thruway runs 8801, 8802, 8803, and 8804, and it connected with the San Joaquins in Modesto.

:lol: No, no never. Thanks for the info SuperlinerDiner, even though it's unfortunate. I've been the only one on the motorcoach a few times, so I'm not really all that surprised. Maybe it's being cut because recently I have not been using that service as often as I used to? <_<
