Antioch-Pittsburg (CA) Amtrak Station -

Hi, how is the area around the Antioch-Pittsburg (CA) station? Is there a way to get to the BART Antioch station? (I'd like to check out/ride the E-Bart DMU service) how far are the two stations from each other? I know I could do an Uber, but was just wondering if I could walk it, or a public bus, but need to know how the area is, in general. I may need to stay the night there as well, any good basic hotels/motels to recommend?

Before she moved to Phoenix my sister lived in Antioch and taught in Pittsburgh. But she has been gone from there a pretty long time. Not sure if she has kept up. I'll give her a ring to see if she has anything to say.
