Auto Train Delayed on 6/5 from Lorton

Good Morning!

I have a quick question, does anybody have any information on why the Auto Train left over 8 hrs late on Monday June 5 from Lorton? I found it kind of odd since this is one of the better running LD's. The kicker is that the 91 is running pretty much on time today!!!

A tree that had fallen across the tracks broke the windshiled on the northbound train and delayed it getting into Lorton - thus the delay on departing Lorton.

When it's that late(11hrs +) how do they handle meals since when it's ontime or slightly late you get dinner and continental breakfast?
