Do they still print boarding passes? If so are they similar to the heavy airline ones? Looking for a memento for my sons first Amtrak ride.

Amtrak calls them e-tickets, and yes, you can have your e-ticket printed by an agent or at a Quik Trak kiosk on heavier, official stock.

Their are several types of eTickets. Print at home, Print at Quik Trak, or show it on your phone. My suggestion is print one at home and at a QT.
