That is good news. I noticed that the 'Passenger Service Notice' that claimed the disruption would last until mid-August was gone from Amtrak's website and wondered. It would have been nice if they had updated the status of 50 & 51 returning to normal service sooner, since it seemed pretty likely mid-August was off the mark when reading posts here and at TO.

and my original reservations would have been safe and not needed the change to the Capitol Ltd but I am not changing back now because it was too hard to get the reroute documented and ticketed correctly.
