Amtrak and PennDOT clashed Tuesday over whether it is safe for passenger trains to continue running underneath the dilapidated Fruitville Pike bridge, which was closed to traffic unexpectedly last week.
This obviously could have a major impact on Keystone Service, could cut Harrisburg off from the east, and cause the annullment of the Pennsylvanian & Three Rivers, at least east of Harrisburg. This bridge appears to be just west of the Lancaster Amtrak station.
