Capitol Corridor struck someone (non fatal)

Well I’m on the Coast Starlight headed south and we are stuck at the Santa Clara Station because we are told the Capital Corridor heading south in front of us struck a trespasser. We are told it is non fatal (we are told at this time at least) but the locomotive was damaged so we have to wait for Amtrak to sort that out. If the locomotive was damaged I’m assuming it hit a car?

Well it didn’t take long for them to sort it out. We (Coast Starlight) are about to leave Santa Clara.

Just passed the intersection and it was indeed a car that got hit. Got video as we passed by on my Osmo Action 3 so ill see about posting it later tonight.
