Capitol Limited run pretty late. Is it the snow?

We are heading home on Monday and Tuesday (01/06 to 01/07) and I see the Capitol Limited is running really late both east and west. Is the snow that bad up there?

It is probably the effect of the temperatures and high winds following the snowfall than the snow itself. I see #30 (1/03) left CHI 2 hours and 13 minutes late; apparently there were traffic problems in Chicago due to a Metra collision with a car. The deep freeze that is expected to move from the Midwest to the east coast Monday to Tuesday is likely to cause delays and slow orders. Just don't expect to reach your destination on time.

That's fine. We have 9 hours in DC and 5 hours in Chicago. I have my scanner and my flask, they can take their time.
